PJ Mackintosh has a background in Environmental Sciences and has authored many environmental strategies for major UK cities. Now, PJ Mackintosh is a writer of dystopian and utopian speculative science fiction. He is interested in how fear shapes politics and how systems fail the people who are trapped inside them. Using current world events, PJ Mackintosh uses speculative fiction as a vehicle for reflecting on modern-day moral dynamics. His work examines displacement, power and the thin line between order and atrocity.
